Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as 16 years old. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as highly rated commercially. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra is well known for her involvement in many notable projects, both in the United States and internationally. The projects comprise British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was an active member of jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
